5.0 out of 5 stars Essential reading, 19 April 2007

There's only one book, next to the Bible, that I'm passionate for every Christian to read, and this is it. If the thought of evangelism makes you feel guilty one minute and fearful the next, then this is the book to set you free.

5.0 out of 5 stars Order This Book!, 28 May 2004
This review is from: Sowing, Reaping, Keeping: People-sensitive Evangelism (Paperback)
This book takes just a few pages to say what it takes some years to learn. There are so many insights into how to become more responsive to the people you want to reach. The ideas were born in ministry in Europe, but the timeless truths apply to any situation. This is not a program--but a mind-set that will help you in any ministry.

5.0 out of 5 stars So simple, but so brilliant, 19 April 2001

This review is from: Sowing, Reaping, Keeping: People-sensitive Evangelism (Paperback)
Singlehurst's explanation of the differences between sowing and reaping, with reference to the Engel Scale, is so clear. These insights are absolutely essential to effective proclaiming of the Gospel, especially in a local church situation. It is an essential read, I recommend it totally.
