This little 7 inch tv gives superb pictures. The sound is somewhat harsh and it would have been nice to have some form of tone control. I initially set it up from the house loft aerial - Freeview. However we've not got a coax connection in the kitchen, so I tried to get a signal via the supplied amplified aerial. I could achieve around 80% signal strength but there was no quality percentage shown and hence no picture. However, connecting it to the Philex SLX Gold amplified aerial (model 27769R) brought the tv into life. I had already purchased the SLX anticipating that I would have difficulty in getting a picture having read reviews of other small tvs here. I would have given it five stars had the aerial been good enough to get a picture. It may be because the screened lead - I could not call it a coax as it's pretty thin - is not beefy enough to keep the signal clean enough. Strength of the digital signal transmission is very much a lottery.
The tv comes with a lithium battery and car adapter. I'm unlikely to use these as the set is screwed to the side of the oven housing using "Swish" curtain fittings as standoffs. They make a neat installation.
Knowing what I know now, would I buy it again? The answer must be a YES.
