It's fair to say this is not the best fighting game ever made, but it is worthy addition to any fans of this type of game purely because it has an original twist to it that really injects some spice and interest.The twist that I speak of is the betting element of the game. You place bets before each fight, deciding who you think will win and how much you're willing to stake on it. You also get to choose at which point in the fight you want to place the bet. So for example, if you are pretty confident of winning the fight, and the odds are such that you winning wont win you a particularly huge stash of doh, you can choose to delay your bet for up to 60 seconds, in which time you can fake a few dives, thus making the odds go up. Obviously you have to be careful though, as you don't want to end up loosing, or indeed making your con to obvious, as this will result in you being stripped of all your winnings. You can also bet against yourself winning, a hard con to pull off but when it works you can rake the money in! It's a truly intriguing concept that keeps you playing. Also, the storyline and the way you work your way up through the ranks is a great learning curve and is part of what makes this game so worthwhile. The ad-hoc multiplayer mode is also great fun. I would really recommend this game. I'm actually not a big fan of the genre, and this was bought for me by chance, but I absolutely love it and would buy a sequel should it materialise. Give it a go!
