Fun:
Although not a bad FPS, this game is THE most multi-player focused experience i have ever played. The single player campaign is short beyond belief: 8 levels that are no more than glorified map skirmishes. The storyline is so thin it barely exists, and even in the solo campaign, dying leads to instant respawning, allowing you to re-enter the battlefield after your death the same way you would during a multi-player deathmatch. Even the screen furniture is excessive, with maps and name tags occluding almost a third of the display.
Having said that - once you switch most of the onscreen icons off - it's actually good fun with a great aesthetic. Only 3 hours long in Campaign mode (seriously) but in online multiplayer it comes into it's own as an excellent hyper-kinetic shooter. As long as you can find 32 players online.
Not a game for the solitary or off-line gamer.

Okay, by setting this game up as better than MW2, I'm probably going to incur the wrath of some CoD god somewhere. However from my perspective it's true, the whole dropping from orbit thing is pulled off excellebtly and the multiplayer is excellent. The jet pakcs make a big difference to gameplay.
The important thing to remember about this game, is that it's more about tactics than having incredible reflexes. If you enjoy games where you have less than a milisecond to react to seeing an enemy this will not be for you. Killing enemies is extremely hard as everyone has lots of shields and armour, and nearly everybody will have a repair tool on them. However this means that when you do manage to kill somebody, either through teamwork or sheer determanation, it's really quite satisfying.
The only thing that lets the game down is the campaign, it was simply un-interesting. Very little plot, and very badly executed. There's nothing to set it apart from the multiplayer, just that you fight AI instead of actual people.
So if you don't like 'unrealistic' games, this isn't for you. If you don't like 'slow' games, this is for you. However, if you like relaxed games which require a use of tactics, then I reccomend this game.

overall i liked this game, the dropping straight into the battle is a really good idea
however the game can feel abit unpolished and rough in places, and the campaign is way to short in my opinion.
however the multiplayer works and is fun, so i think it is a good game
