When I first looked at the book I originally thought the soup diet was about just totally living on soup, it's not it's about incorporating soup within your normal eating plans which will make you eat less.

It's funny as subconsciously I only ever order soup at restaurants when I'm really hungry. I got the book not so much for dieting but because I'm living in Spain at the moment where they eat very late around 9-11pm, this really doesn't help maintaining a healthy weight and I want something to take at that time which is light and but would get rid of the hunger pangs.

The book gives really great information about how the soup diet works, what to watch out for, cooking tips, how to effortlessly incorporate in your life and of course includes , very nutritional, hunger filling and healthy soup recipes,

It's also easy to get ideas and experiment with your own soups if you haven't got the ingredients or you want to be innovative.

This book is not just for dieters but those who want to incorporate other healthy meals in their lifestyles.

to be fair to the book, I have been reading an awful lot about nutrition and healthy eating recently and this is a good book but probably suffers from my having read better ones in the last few days.
a lot of common sense that sometimes needs to come from another source (not just from yourself or family) to be taken seriously, so don't dismiss this book, good ideas and sensible, practical advice to enable you to eat more vegetables in an interesting way. good ingredients you can prepare in advance and take in a small flask to work or wherever.

I was looking for soup recipes when I stumbled at this book. But after reading it I was just blown away, this is not just another recipe book it’s a complete guide for weight loss. It explains how the soup diet works; it touches upon the exercise part as well. And most importantly the soups are yummy I have tried a few.

I'm not going to lie, I've been on a lot of different diets in my life. I'd like to say it's because I'm testing them out and, in fact, I kind of am, even though I also get tired of them and quickly move on to the next.

The reality of it is, not every diet is a fad, though a lot of them are. Page lays out a practical plan that anyone can follow to realistically lose weight and be healthier by eating ... you guessed it, soup!

Not only does she give you 30 soup recipes, she outlines a "Four Pronged Plan" that goes beyond just simple instructions, but gives the reader something of substance that they can follow to move towards losing weight naturally.

Personally, I need a specific, step-by-step plan for most things, especially when it comes to a diet.

Overall, everything in "The Soup Diet Cookbook" is very straightforward, easy to follow and she gives sound advice on how to lose weight quickly while staying healthy.

I can't wait to try the Creamy Vegetable Chowder soup!

Soup really is one of the best diet foods- it makes you feel extremely full, it can be super nutritious, and it's low in calories in relation to most foods. I'm always on the lookout for new soup recipes, and this book has a bunch of them.

I absolutely love this book. The author's style is relaxed and, at times, humorous. It made this book a joy to read.

It begins by giving you some information regarding the current obesity epidemic and some of it's causes. This includes a chapter on the differences of subcutaneous fat and visceral fat; and why visceral fat is so dangerous.

There is also a detailed 'Four Pronged Soup Diet Cookbook Plan' to aid you in your mission to lose belly fat. This plan is extremely reasonable and easily doable.

Perhaps what I like most about this book is that it isn't just a bunch of soup and smoothie recipes. It's also a detailed plan, backed by science. The first half of the book is dedicated to telling you how to do the diet, what to expect and how our bodies work. The second part is where you will find all of the delicious, nutritious and satisfying recipes.

One of my favorite parts of this book (aside from the yummy recipes) is the section on "Diet Truths". These are things that most everybody knows, yet somehow we seem to forget. They include non-nonsense statements such as "All diets work if you stick to them. No diet works if you give up." and "Weight doesn't fall off our hips overnight." I believe that every dieter should print or write this page up and put copies on their refrigerator, bathroom mirror and even in their office.

You will love this book. There is much to gain from it, and that doesn't include extra pounds!
