5.0 out of 5 stars Very interesting - exposes what you don't get to see, 20 Mar 2001
By A Customer
This is the second of Nicolas Jones' Spin Doctor series (with a fourth on the way if I read correctly). Whereas Campaign 1997 covers the 1997 election campaign, "Soundbites and Spindoctors" examines the art of spin more generally and from both sides. Not only does the book examine the technique of "spin-doctoring" but also covers how the changing media has forced politicians to modify what they say and how they say it. If you find modern media management interesting then you should read this book.
