SoundMAGIC E10M In-Ear Sound Isolating Earphones with Apple Compatible Remote & Mic.,/b> Now this is what earphones should be like: solid metal construction, potent bass with balanced musical detail, vibrant colour combinations and Apple compatible. With the E10M SoundMAGIC has again created an unbeatable achievement in the earphone world - truly the best value for money available!

SoundMAGIC's acoustic engineers carefully configured the drivers of the E10M to produce exciting sound with powerful bass and balanced musical detail. They punch well above their weight in terms of sound quality. The in-ear design combined with the right eartip makes sure the sound is not lost or diluted. Sitting comfortably in the earcanal, the E10M ensures hours of fatigue-free listening fun.

The E10M's smart remote unit lets you end or reject a call, and activate Voice Control without having to fiddle with the source device. Of course, it also lets you turn the volume up or down, play, pause, and skip to the next or previous track. As you'd expect, the remote automatically interrupts music playback on iPhone for an incoming call, and returns to playback when you hang up.

Machined in one piece, the metal earphone housing make the E10M tough enough to withstand the rigours of everyday use. The splitter and jack connector of the E10M are also made of metal ensuring a long life of the earphones.

Musical Detail & Powerful Bass: SoundMAGIC's engineers have tuned the drivers of the E10M to deliver a heavy bottom end. Delivering deep rolling bass balanced with superb musical detail, the E10M creates an exciting and fun listening experience.

Made for Apple: Designed to go perfectly with Apple products, the smart remote with microphone controls the iPod, iPhone and iPad. The remote lets you turn the volume up or down, play, pause, and skip to the next or previous track. Calls from the iPhone can be answered with the touch of a button.

Metal Construction: Machined in one piece, the metal earphone body makes the E10M robust and ready for the rigours of everyday life, whatever you throw at them. These earphones are built to last.

Distinctive Design: Carefully chosen colours have been combined to make the E10M not only a feast for the ears but the eyes as well. Choose from four vibrant variations to suit your style.

Comfort Fit: Ergonomically designed sound tubes sit perfectly in the ear canal and stay in the ear comfortably without falling out.

Sound Isolation: The in-ear design combined with the right eartips seals music in and leaves unwanted noise out. Lower volume requirements allow you to protect your hearing from damage loud music can cause.

Sound Signature: Weighty bass response, clear vocals and sparkling trebles.

5.0 out of 5 stars SoundMagic E10M earphones 3 April 2012

Brilliant earphones with nice bass, worth every penny. I would highly recommend them and I am normally very fussy about sound quality.

5.0 out of 5 stars The best buy for audio clarity and price 24 April 2012
Colour Name:Black/Silver
I couldn't believe the number of reviews online about these little buds, but they deserve every single one. These phone (E10M) are exactly the same audio as the E10's, so for even more user reviews see the E10's.
I have to second all the 5* reviews, they are fantastic. Great clarity, bass, treble and above all a bargain at 35/50. I went for the E10M version, as I value the in-line rocker switch, but either way they're a fantastic buy.
Nice to actually get value for money, a rarity these days with 350 phones on the market barely doing much of a better job.

2.0 out of 5 stars Good but.... 10 Jan 2014
Colour Name:Black/Silver|Verified Purchase
They are good headphones for the price you pay, however I have had to return two pairs as there was a fault with them, where it would turn the volume automatically to the max. So I am now looking for some new headphones. I suggest maybe buying ones without mic control as the controls also aren't that easy to use.

3.0 out of 5 stars Very good for iphone users only 8 Jan 2014
By Yas
Colour Name:Black/Silver|Verified Purchase
This is stunning product at this price but i only realised it was not compatible for android devices after purchasing. I know the description states for iphone only but i was able to answer a call but couldnt use the microphone on my s3. Nevertheless the headphones are absolutely stunning and deliver high quality sound so i ended up getting the E10s.

4.0 out of 5 stars SoundMAGIC E10M Earbuds. 1 April 2013
Colour Name:Black/Red|Verified Purchase
Just a few observations:

1: Several reviewers have stated that these phones sound 'tinny'. They are right. Straight out of the box, the sound is decidedly harsh & metallic. Violins & female vocals were awful. Very disappointed.
Oh well, maybe they'll be better after some running in.
After being treated to about 12 hours continuous music (at reasonable volume level), they begin to sound a lot sweeter. Very nice, in fact.

2: I don't get on very well with in-ear phones. The hard plastic ones never seem to stay in, and can be uncomfortable. One reason I plumped for these was the number of different rubber tips supplied. The double layer ones seem to be about the best so far, but still not 100% happy. Still uncomfortable, and the slightest tap to the wires transmits directly to your eardrums. Think I'll try some foam tips.

3: Bought these for use with an Android smart phone. The (ridiculously small) centre mic button works ok, letting you take a call without removing the phones. The other buttons, it seems, will only work on IPhone. Full functionality (change track/volume, etc) needs a Bluetooth headset.

4: Nice to see the manufacturer has listened to earlier criticisms, and put rubber sleeves round all the weak points.

Are they value for money? I would say yes, bearing in mind that sound quality is primarily determined by the source. It needed a little equalizer tweaking on the phone to get the sound to approach that from an Asus Xonar sound card.

4.0 out of 5 stars Very capable bit of kit 1 Mar 2012
Colour Name:Black/Silver
I've given these only 4 stars because for me they are a little base heavy and there is just a hint of base bleed-over on complex tracks.

Having said that - these are great all rounders, I was looking for a sub 100 set of earphones with a mic that would not disappoint and these don't. Having read loads of reviews I found the SoundMagic E10s were very well received so thought I would give the E10Ms a go.

Now I wouldn't call myself an audiophile though I do run pretty decent separates at home for general listening and my aims were modest- I.e to have comfortable headphones that I can listen to at work or on the move that would deliver volume, good all round detail and not be base light.

I had previously tried upgrading from the standard iPhone earbuds to some sennheiser cx300-IIs and was horribly disappointed, though I understand that with a separate amp and DAC these sound much better.

So the SoundMagic were a bit of a gamble but at 50 they were quite a lot less than products getting reviews anywhere near as good.
The build quality of these things looks really good, time will tell. But the sound is clearly where these provide value, for 50 the amount of detail that these little fellas deliver is just amazing the mid range is particularly strong given the masses of base that these produce.
Like I said I bought these for use with my iPhone which does not have the best sound processing but playing electronica and dance / house tracks with the EQ off sounds unbelievabley good especially on the apple lossless tracks.

5.0 out of 5 stars Excellent value 30 Mar 2012
Colour Name:Black/Silver|Verified Purchase
Been looking for some new earphones to use with my iPhone after my Etymotic HF2 gave up the Ghost after less than 18 months. These have had excellent reviews and were cheaper than my old ones. They certainly live up to the reviews and sound excellent with everything I throw at them. Build quality seems very good and they are easier to get a good fit in the ear than the HF2's. I also use them with a Fiio E7 AMP/DAC and that has produced another step up in sound quality with out spending more on the Earphones. The E7 is also used on my Desktop PC and is an excellent way of improving the sound if you have a standard Sound card in the PC.
