Of all the Susumu Yokota albums I have - and I have a few - this may not be the best (see Sakura) but it is one of the most accessible. Each track is meticulously built up with delicate melodies, bass lines, beats and tinkling effects knitted together into a funky cardigan that even your Dad would look good in - provided he's not allowed to dance.

This is one of those surprising albums you could have lurking in the background that occasionally snares your attention and silences guests.

From sweet to sensual... 4 Sept. 2006
By Rebecca of Amazon - Published on Amazon.com
Format: Audio CD
Sweet and sensual oceanic moods appear with world flavor that dives into a sexy lounge mood and then melts into the second track like a wave crashing on the shore. Heavy beats appear and deepen the mood and then reverberate through "Crash Marble."

"Wind Wave" returns to a solitary echo of sound and quickly sinks you into a tranquil pool of contemplation. Then suddenly you are tossed into deep rocking oceans that turn jazzy in "Sky Blue."

The haunting "Form An Idea" sparkles with creative notions and hypnotic potions. It tempts you into the future and pushes you into the past. "Make Peace" is especially weighted down, but there is a release into "Sky and Diamond" as ethereal sparkles drift from a birthday cake. In the end, you feel happy like you are licking sweet vanilla icing off your fingers.
