Sound loaded is probably Ricky Martins most mature work to date. It has all the usual toe tapping Latin rhythms in the form of she bangs, Jezabel and loaded however there are also some wonderful ballads, nobody wants to be lonely and the touch really stand out and show what an exceptional singer Ricky is. If you only buy one CD this year it has to be this. Of course it helps that Ricky is the most gorgeous looking man in the universe but he is also extremely talented.

This CD really is alot of fun. The ballads are beautiful but the fast paced latino tunes are by far the best. As soon as the tunes start you can guarantee that you will be up dancing.

So much more complete than the patchy Ricky Martin album. True, no single track stands out as much as Vida Loca, but that's mainly because the standard overall is so much higher.
If you're buying 1 Ricky Martin album, this is the one to get (so far).

Sound Loaded is a brilliant CD,the ballads are romantic and the Latin beats are lively,catchy tunes(especially "St Tropez"),the title song has potential "single" material all over it.His vocals is smooth and velvety as ever..Buy It! You'll love it !

I've always enjoyed the odd Ricky Martin tune, but I found that there were some seriously poor tracks on his previous album. As soon as I bought Sound Loaded I could tell by the cover design that it was going to be a much slicker production, and on listening to it I wasn't disappointed. The tracks which stand out the most for me are She Bangs, Loaded and One Night Man. Although none of these come close to St.Tropez, which made me look out the window at this awful English weather and yearn for those summers on the Riviera, St.Tropez, MC, Cannes, Jimmy'z...I'm getting carried away here...just buy it!!

I bought this cd today and this baby has the wow factor !! I'm traditionally a jazz fan but also very partal to anything with a spanish/latino feel. I was totally knocked off my feet when I heard this album, I havent heard something so talent filled to the very last drop in a very long while. Olivia I enjoyed your review, you hit the nail on the head and I can only say my cd will be played to death. Definately one for the hopeless romantics of this world but also for those who like to strut their funky stuff - SUPERB !!!

He's sexy, he's romantic, he's "drop your pants gorgeous" and he's back!!!!
"Sound Loaded" is the new album from that latin love god who had us frothing with such stomping hits such as livin la vida loca and Maria. Ricky once again gets pulses racing with his combination of beautiful ballads "Nobody wants to be lonely" "Come to me" and foot tapping, hip swaying latino rhythms such as the fabulous "She Bangs" "Loaded" "jezebel " (rather cheesey but exceptionally contagious) and "Are you in it for love"!
This is a fabulous album and i defy anyone who buys it not to think its the best thing since...... his last album!!
He really is a master... Ricky Martin i worship at your altar!
He once said in an interview that all men from Puerto Rico were like him.... im off to the travel agents to book that ticket!!

I PURCHASED RICKY MARTIN SOUND LOADED, WHILE ON VACATION IN TORONTO, ONTARIO, CANADA, I HAVE BEEN A FAN OF SPANISH AND LATIN-AMERICAN MUSIC SINCE I WAS 14, AND A RICKY MARTIN FAN SINCE I WAS 16. PLUS I CAN SING IN FLUENT SPANISH TO VUELVE, MARIA, LIVI'N LA VIDA LOCA SP, LA BOMBA, SHE BANGS, NO IMPORTA LA DISTANCIA WHICH IS FUN.
I HAD THE CHANCE TO GO AND SEE RICKY MARTIN IN EARLS COURT 2 LONDON, 13 MAY 2OOO, IT WAS A MEMORABLE EVENING WHICH I REMEMBER TO THIS DAY AND WILL NEVER FORGET.
BUY THIS ALBUM!! I BOUGHT MY RICKY SOUND LOADED IN CANADA AND HAVE BEEN SINGING ALONG TO IT SINCE.
EVEN IF YOU'RE NOT A FAN YOURSELF, THERE ARE PLENTY OF SONGS TO LISTEN OR TO SING TO.
IF YOU ARE A FAN WHO HAS THE RICKY MARTIN VIDEO COLLECTION YOU WILL ALREADY BE FAMILIAR WITH HIS WORK, THIS CD HAD ME SINGING ALONG STRAIGHT AWAY.

Dance till you drop!!
Don't buy this CD unless you plan to dance for the rest of the year! Salsa, merengue, cha-cha-cha, tango... all in 1 CD. Probably Martin's best work to date. Read more

this album was better then the first. it has lots of dance upbeat track and a few slow ones. Also a couple of the songs are in spanish. I love this album its a must buy
