Soulectric isn't just one of the better albums I've heard this year; it's easily one of the best debut albums I've bought in a long time from a London or UK act and and Independent one at that! I've seen them play live and it can only be described as a life changing experience. The band has the best showmanship and exhilirating perfomance i have ever seen.

My favourite tracks on this are the anti racism song "Conquerors", the all out Funk "better days" and "let it go" which touches on child abuse, "Express Train"...actually i love all the tracks on this album. Well worth every penny i say! :)

To quote a friend: wow!

I was privileged to see these guys 3 times in 3 weeks last summer, and they are mind-blowing. They have such amazing energy, passion and drive. The drummer, Vidal, gets so excited and into it that he stands up, mid-song, whilst still drumming.
Anyway, onto the album:- a supremely well produced musical work, full of funky bass grooves, brilliant vocal skills, jazzy horn blast and a feisty fusion of jazz/blues/hiphop/rnb tones. Highly, highly, recommended! Also available to download, if you wanna check out a their single "GonnaMakeIt" before you buy the album.

This is a fantastic debut album from a young UK band. Four Kornerz are four brothers delivering a high-energy fusion of soul, funk and hip-hop with inspirational lyrics. They are so amazing live that I thought a recorded album would be a little disappointing by contrast, but it ain't! These guys, in their own words, 'are gonna go real, real far...' (Soulflower)
