Book Description

3 Aug 2009

This unforgettable account of a World War II fighter pilot come back from the dead will leave no doubt to the possibility and truth of reincarnation.

When James Leininger was just two, he began to suffer horrific nightmares. His desperate parents were at a loss to help him until he said just three things: "Corsair" "Natoma", and a name, "Jack Larsen".

From these tantalising glimpses into a life that ended sixty years ago, James' parents travelled thousands of miles and spent many long years piecing together these facts to try and find an answer that could end his torment. Finally, despite his mother's fears and his father's staunch Christian beliefs, they found only one solution to the endless coincidences that surrounded every detail in James' life - the crew and mission of the USS Natoma Bay, and the last flight of a World War II fighter pilot.

I started my spiritual quest shortly after my best friend was killed in a tragic accident, I had already witnessed several unrealated paranormal events previously before I saw an outline of him appear in front of me (about five hours after his death) I did not get notifaction of the accident until the very next day.

The first book that I picked up was an author called Jean kelford, a medium, who saw her step daughter appear before her hours after the young girls premature death. Where does your spiritual side lead you after this? Well it takes twists and turns and leads you to many wonderful books, this one included.

Bruce and Andrea Leininger's son James started having terrible nightmares shortly after his second birthday. This soon became an almost nightly event and his mother put pieces of information together and realised that James was reliving the final moments of a previous carnation; a second world war fighter pilot called James Huston.

The information that came from young James was like that of an experienced air craft expert in the form of a small child still in nappies and one that hated sitting on the potty.

Bruce Leininger, a religious man, that thought The Bible should never be questioned, then made a concerted effort to disprove all the information that young James was saying. The only problem was that all the information given, including three pilots full names, that died before Huston, were given by young James and totally spot on. These three characters were the ones that met Huston on the other side in the spirit realms.

Although I would say the book starts off at a slow and sometimes almost un-interesting fashion, you will be blown away by the information and storyline that follow, there are many gasps and many chills that go down your spine.

With a foreward written by Carol Bowman, the author of the fabulous book called 'Childrens past lives' (the best book that I have ever read) you are on to a winner and thats exactly what this book is.

The Leiningers' are normal loving parents and would not subject the entire family to open ridicule unless they had a compelling story to share with the World.

I approach everything in life with an open mind and the biggest thing that I have learnt from this book is that a successful world war II pilot with many notches on his belt was not sent to a dark place for the lives he took in battle.

4.0 out of 5 stars Gripping but too full of the parents egos 12 Sep 2009
Format:Paperback
Its a shame that this gripping book and James story is let down and overshadowed by the sheer size of the parents egos ... For example introducing themselves at the start of the book they write "In the grand scheme of their lives the deal was a fair one. He got the gorgeous dancer and she got the big, hansome corporate executive - plus a child." How modest.

If you skip the first few chapters you wouldnt miss anything important - its not until the parents have wasted several chapters puffing their chests over their family and working lives that the story really gets going, and thankfully once it does the details and drama surrounding James' extrodinary tale becomes gripping.

definately worth a read if you want to open your mind to the possibility of reincarnation - its very convincing and heartwarming.
