Well I am ashamed to admit that after all these years of this series of compilations being around, that as a passionate music lover this edition was my first ever buy. It was only after recommendation via ' Solar Radio ' that I bought this album. And in no way does it disappoint. 3 CD'S of top quality soul inspired music from artists well known to both old and new soul music lovers. The tracks complement each other and flow well with each CD having it's own vibe with the 3rd CD catered for those who love their soul music infused with some house.
It is a worthwhile buy for those seeking to get to know music from artists new to them and also offers some form of musical continuity for hard core music lovers who love to hear tracks from various artists they love on one album. The music contained in this compilation does not grow old nor suffer from monotony experienced in some other compilations. For me a fantastic musical buy worth every pound and a perfect intro to earlier Soul Lounge editions.
