More About the Author

Liza is the author of the novel 'More Than Enough' as well as a number of non-fiction books. She worked in PR until voluntary redundancy provided the perfect opportunity to change direction and start writing. She lives in Hertfordshire, works part-time for a charity, can easily lose hours on Pinterest and spends much of her life helping people spell and pronounce her Dutch surname (think Hook-smar).

Youth workers are often some of the busiest people around. If there's not a person to meet there's a youth meeting to plan. If there's not social event to plan there's a talk to write. There's always more to do and never enough time to do it! You get the point.

Somewhere in there youth workers have to stay passionate, alive and switched-on - to young people, youth culture and God. Easy? Not always.

Lisa's book plugs a gap that needs plugging and does so with flair, clarity and accessibility. Her book holds for us 80 short devotionals on different subjects all geared towards bringing spiritual life to youth leaders.

Flip open the contents page and you'll find stuff on anything from slowing down our hectic pace to healing and justice to straightening out our priorities, even some dream interpretation. Each subject is dealt with easily and gives practical exercises so you can take it as far as you want.

This book will challenge you to raise your game and help you do that in a sustainable way. Great stuff, get it, if you haven't already.

It all arrived as expected, but was a gift. I've heard no complaints, so take this as a positive!
