5.0 out of 5 stars Madness unleashed 20 Aug. 2011
Format:Paperback|Verified Purchase
This sixth volume of the `Soul Eaters' manga sees Maka allow the madness to overcome her in an attempt to reach out to Crona's soul before the insanity consumes her. Meanwhile Stein continues his standoff with Medusa while Death the Kid and Black Star race to stop the revival of the first Kishin, Asura.

This is another very good volume of `Soul Eater'. The fight between Stein and Medusa is good, as is the one that sees Death the Kid and Black Star face Free but my favourite battle is probably the fight between Crona and Maka which quite is entertaining. The volume also includes a bit more information on the background of a couple of characters and the ending of the volume, and this story arc, is also very nice.

Overall this was a very entertaining volume that is well worth a full five stars.

Soul Eater is amazing. It has a unique art style that I haven't seen before and it works extremely well. The characters are ostentatious and surprisingly funny! The story is interesting and I can see myself getting hooked very quickly!

I bought some of these books for my brother for Christmas and they were in great shape when they arrived. The only reason I am giving 4 stars instead of 5 is because I think shipping could have been a bit more speedy.
