Product Description

Product Description

This work features an another four compilations of the funniest puns, songs and one-liners from the award-winning BBC Radio 4 series. 'Risky, rude, brilliantly written and superbly performed' - The Judges, Sony Radio Academy Awards. Often imitated but never bettered, "I'm Sorry I Haven't a Clue" is the only authentic antidote to panel games. After 35 years on air, this hardy perennial continues to bloom with inspired ad-libbing and wickedly improvised fun. This tenth collection finds unflappable chairman Humphrey Lyttelton giving silly things to do to regular panellists Tim Brooke-Taylor, Barry Cryer and Graeme Garden, as well as special guests Jeremy Hardy, Ross Noble, Andy Hamilton and Rob Brydon.Highlights include old favourites such as "One Song to the Tune of Another", "84 Chicken Cross Road", "Sound Charades", "New Definitions" and of course the brilliantly baffling, fiendishly funny "Mornington Crescent". So settle back and laugh yourself silly as Humph and the gang indulge in more organised mayhem and general hilarity, accompanied by Colin Sell on the piano and the lovely Samantha, who never fails to score.

5.0 out of 5 stars Killing me softly with his song..., 24 Aug 2007
By Eve (England) - See all my reviews
A "Must-Have" for all fans - amongst all the usual games played by Tim, Graeme, Barry and guests (overseen by Humph and the lovely Samantha, still sitting on his left hand), I am continually enjoying Rob Brydon singing "Killing me softly" to the tune of "The Bear Necessities" (as Tim rightly says, he's no Jeremy Hardy)and in the same programme an ad-lib sketch set in Space... which I will not spoil for you by discussing here!

If you find nothing here to raise a smile, you are truly beyond help. For most people, however, I would advise not listening to this the first time while behind the wheel of a car. ISIHAC always carries a Dangerous Driving Warning.

5.0 out of 5 stars consistently wonderful!, 28 Jun 2007
The most recent addition to the ISIHAC collection is, as usual, a complete and utter joy. I listened to it on the way to the Morecambe Cross-Bay half-marathon last weekend and nearly drove off the road in hysterics several times. Humph remains as sharp as a tack and his ad-libs are a delight - when told that a particular medicine was a cure for foxmange and burns, he added 'That reminds me, I must ring my solicitors'. Not to be missed!

5.0 out of 5 stars Thanks Humph, 18 Feb 2009
By Martin J. Adams (Richmond, London, UK) - See all my reviews
(REAL NAME)
Each cd of ISIHAC is funnier than the previuos one-this is no exception. Strongly recommended for a car journey. You will arrive before you realise you have left!

Samantha jokes het ever nearer the edge, the Uxbridge dictuionary funnier each time and as for Lionel Blaire and the local introductions, they are all best not repeated in mixed company.
