The book itself has a theme of love, nobility and misunderstanding. It is set in a foriegn world, split in half by a 'forbidden land'. The book itself remains interesting almost throughout although it becomes slightly hard to digest for one or tow chapters. It is generally an easy going and enjoyable read with a surprising twist to it.

Terrific fantasy novel.24 Jan. 2012

I was very pleasantly surprised by this novel. I am growing farther and farther away from Fantasy as I find a lot of the writing is very poor and amateurish. This novel was written very well, and the story itself is intriguing, mystifying and curious. The author's imagination is impressive here and I found myself surprised by the new elements as they unfolded and was always eager to turn the pages.
A definite keeper. This book may be out of print, but if you can find a copy and you are interested in fantasy novels, you should do yourself a favor and pick it up.
