Product Description

Horror film starring Linda Blair and its sequel. In 'Sorceress', Larry (Larry Poindexter) is in line for promotion at the prestigious law firm where he works, but the position ends up going to Howard (Edward Albert). Larry's wife Erica (Julie Strain) then decides to take matters into her own hands and uses her witchcraft powers to cripple Howard. However Erica hadn't bargained with meeting Howard's wife (Blair) who is also a powerful witch herself. In 'Sorceress 2', Paul (Greg Wrangler) is sent to a mysterious world where he is teased and taunted by a trio of temptresses, who initiate him into their world of bizarre erotic rituals.

Oh dear. What a line! It sums up much of the acting in this movie. However don’t let that put you off if you are into one of the following
Camp Goth
Soft porn
B-movies
Or general hilarity at badly acted movies
OK so the plot isn’t up to much either but for some reason I was kept entertained by both films, not because they are good, but because they are sooo bad you laugh most of the way through. Yes everyone in major roles is easy on the eye and there are some sex scenes that will keep the lonely sexually repressed types happy. The sex isn’t really sexy or romantic, just an excuse to have beautiful people writhe around licking one another. (Not that I am complaining too much!!)
The first is definitely better than the second, but I did have a bit of a giggle through both. One major gripe is that the description of the second film on the back of the box bares no resemblance to the move at all.
Good for lads, students and lonely old Goths. Everyone else will properly hate them.

5.0 out of 5 stars Good Purchase 12 Nov 2012

I viewed these films many years ago.The first film I thought was the better of the two. Linda Blair turned in a great performance as the woman using her powers to seek revenge in the wake of her husband's accident.A very sultry Julie Strain does her bit as the seductress. As I said the first film was superior. The plot in the sequel only comes clear in the end. However my favorite scene is the sexy female agent being forced to striptease by a warlock. Oooh. Overall I think it was good value. It is a pity there are so few in this genre.

1.0 out of 5 stars not happy 25 Jan 2013
It took a long time for me to get the DVD set and one DVD is cracked and does not work and the case is broken where the DVD would be attached to the inside of the case. I waited a long time which is understandable but when it arrived broken, I was disappointed.
