One of the joys of DAB is being able to see the programme details scrolling - especially if you come into something half way through. This radio has a light that goes off after a few seconds, so you have to keep pressing a button to illuminate the information. Stupid! Might save battery time, but when on the mains it's totally ridiculous. Utter waste of money.
I bought this for our kitchen and was just the job. Modern retro design, good clear sound,easy to tune .Fantastic reception. Nice to be able to take to the garden and use it on the battery.It even has an alarm clock. Can't go wrong for a Sony DAB/FM radio at his price. Highly Recommended.
