I wanted something light and simple for running and this does not disappoint. It's fantastic to do any cardio workout without having to worry about cables. These headphones are very light and comfortable and do not move around at all. I've worn them on a 75 min run without any problems.
This is definitely much more comfortable than using a traditional MP3 player and an armband, or putting a MP3 player on the cardio machine and then worrying about hitting the headphone cable and dropping the player.
Loading it is childs play as is charging it. It has a quick charge facility, a 3 min charge lasts 90 mins.
The controls are very easy to use and you don't have to stop/slow down to use them.
After your workout you can rinse them under a tap to clean them (they're water resistant but not 100% waterproof)
An essential buy for anyone who enjoys listening to music while they run/workout.

I had bought the original release of this walkman years ago, & it was/is one of the best things I've ever bought.
This newer model, being smaller (& black), I had even higher hopes for.
Unfortunately, I've had to deduct three stars, coz unlike the original - which would NOT ever pop out of my ears (no matter what) -
this newer model does, & it happens every few minutes too!
I far prefer the new design/size, & initially I thought - because they strap closer over ones ears - that it'd be even more
secure. But I soon released that even the slightest movement of one's head dislodges the (largest) earbuds & (due to the new design) pop
out of your ears!
It cannot be overestimated how annoying this is, & has ruined the whole product for me.
I'll have to suffice with using my originals for the gym, & these for walking around elsewhere whilst having to adjust them every 2mins or less!
Massive shame!
Also, these stupidly dangle around when not being used, apart from a crummy plastic fastener (which you wouldn't want to carry around as it's likely to get lost). The original magnetic clamper to fix the two phones together was a far superior way of keeping them tidy when not in use.

Got these for Christmas and have used them for 4 hours on the first charge and they're still going.
Drag-and-drop works perfectly, so there's no need to install the software if you don't want to.
I found that the fit in my ears with the bud size I usually use meant they fell out - the extra weight over standard earphones being the cause, obviously. With the largest buds of the 3 sets provided I get a snug fit though, if I jogged or performed more strenuous exercise than cycling, walking or rowing, I suspect they wouldn't stay in. Not likely to try so you'll have to see for yourself.
Play options = shuffle or play all in alphabetical order of folder. This means that, if you want to play several folders in a particular order you have to rename them 1-, 2-, etc., or something similar. As the unit is accessed like an external drive, this takes seconds.
I miss being able to get track details while playing music but that is a small price to pay for minimal size and ease of use.
Overall, very good and a damn sight better than strapping a lumpy player to your arm.

Sony W-262 headphones
While smaller than it's predecessor the W-252, I am still struggling tio make this W-262 fit me as comfortabely as the W-252's do. Hopefully I will succeed.
