Absolutely awful. Background hiss from the tape is louder than the recorded sound. I use a micro-tape recorder at work all day, so know how they should function. This one is not fit for purpose, so I will be returning it to Amazon for a refund, and will replace it with a digital voice recorder with good reviews.
