I started to get a little disappointed when I opened the box to see it. It is tiny. I knew the picture was not to scale but Gorden Bennett it's small.
Because of this, I thought it was going to be rubbish, but when I put it into my camcorder and turned it on, wooosh! Bright light! It works like a dream. There are a lot more lights that cost a lot more, but this one does just the job! So, the old saying is true; size doesn't matter.

I wanted a light to help in dark places when filming. This light whilst operating from the camcorder battery seemed a good idea in reality the extra lighting it provided is minimal due to the very low power and size of bulb. If you want to light up a subject in limited or very poor light then give this a miss.
Since finding this out I have researched lighting in more depth and invested in a Paglight C6 lighting unit that clips on to the camcorder running off its own power pack with a 30W output which is a thousand times better and eliminates the need for stand alone lighting.

bought one of these after reading the review, very small unit accompanied by sadly very poor light output, hardly made any difference to images, gobbles battery supply like mad, returning for refund as doesn't do whats claimed
