A great tripod 30 Oct 2009
Amazon Verified Purchase
I had an earlier version of this tripod which was so good someone stole it.

Despite the expense they did me a favour: this version is the same size (as far as I can tell) the same weight and has an improved control handle.

The irritating camera securing bracket has been redesigned and is now simple to use.

The wing nuts have been redesigned (they were not robust) and you can call up a viewfinder guide frame from the control handle.

The chief attraction of the tripod, its magnificent oil-damped head, is as good as ever.

You want something better? Go and buy a Vinten.

Good and bad 16 Mar 2009
By Mindzer
Well made. No sharp edges. Remote control works well.
However when trying a smooth pan action with the fluid head the legs give a little at the start and end making the shot jerky.
A little more beef in construction would have eliminated this.
Buy a more sturdy tripod if you want professional camera movement.
A fluid head is only as good as the legs it stands on.

Tripod 7 Jan 2011
I was not sure if this product was good or not.
But I received this after only 3 days (for a 5-7 days delivery)

I love this tripod (its only my first but I can do more than what I thought before about this - difficult to judge correctly a thing if you don't have it in your hands)

It's very nice with 3 level (see my pictures and notes), the remote control is good and you have a bag with this !

It was difficult to make nice movies when I need to take my arm right for 2 or 3 minutes... the record was not good, but now, it's really easy.

I'm not a professional for this thing but I like this (may be it exists something better) and for the price, I'm happy.

PS : sorry for my English who's no my mother tongue
