New from Sony, these travel speakers have terrific sound for such a small size. The speakers swivel in and out from the base for maximum portability. Remarkable sound quality from speakers only about the size of a CD case yet are capable of producing big sound, accurate bass and high acoustic output. Total power output 2W provides ample volume for exciting wide-range sound Built-in Mega Bass sound for powerful bass reproduction boosts the low frequencies for impressive bass sound. New SmFeN injection-molded magnets produce maximum energy output that is more than three times greater than traditional ferrite speaker magnets. Dynamic bass reflex sound port for enhanced reproduction features an active sound duct for enriched sound and substantial output. There are folds for easy carrying so your speakers can accompany you wherever you take your personal stereo. Magnetically shielded speakers for use next to televisions, computer monitors or laptops; will not disturb picture quality. Two way power supply allows fully portable operation with optional "AA" x 4 batteries or plugged into standard household AC outlet with optional AC-E90HGAC Adaptor.

These speakers are all that the other reviewers say. If you are wondering how speakers this small work this well it is because the sound is electronically adjusted to account for that. So even music nerds that believe BIG speakers are best have to admit these are good.

The only thing I was not that keen on is that you have to buy a direct power charger separately. The one from my Sony Walkman does not fit.

They remind me a bit of Bose speakers. They are small yet provide a good crisp sound. There is even an air intake for each speaker! They are loud enough too, and even if you don't have any batteries they can still be used (just running off your discman or minidisc).

If you travel and want another means of listening to your, tapes,CDs,Minidiscs,MP3s etc apart from your headphones get these speakers.
Brilliant design, superb sound.
I use mine with my Nomad Jukebox back in the hotel room and its nearly as good as having your home hifi with you.
Ive also tried it with a tiny Aiwa FM receiver (the size of my thumb) plugged in and it works a treat.
The speakers are about the size and thickness of a CD case, are economical with batteries, come with a case and are well made.
Buy them now!
