Quality Product, 9 Jan 2003
This review is from: Sony SRF-M95 Portable Radio (Electronics)
This radio is worth writing a review. The many advantages outweigh the few disadvantages. Pros: It's super light, small, digital, easy to switch bands and stations, a single AAA battery lasts ages, buttons are well located, reception is nice and sharp. Cons: Expensive, there are 20 presets but I would have liked 40, the manual tuning scrolls a bit too fast, and to nit pick even more automatic tuning would be brilliant. You'd need to take an hour or so with the manual to learn all the functions. I use it while commuting, working out at the gym and jogging. This is a great, quality, reliable product that doesn't muck me around.

Great Product, 23 April 2002

This review is from: Sony SRF-M95 Portable Radio (Electronics)
I have been using this radio for 6 months now and am really pleased with it. The reception is very good, with no sign of the background hiss normally associated with earphone FM arials. The styling is well up to high Sony standards. The absolute best bit is the weight and size. When it falls out of a shirt pocket (as they always do) it is light enough to stay on the earphones not bounce on the floor. OK it's a bit pricey compared with the competition but it's worth it if you want style, good audio and something that lasts.

Good Quality But Expensive Little Toy, 28 May 2002
This review is from: Sony SRF-M95 Portable Radio (Electronics)
The big advantage of this radio is it's truly tiny size. I carry it around in the top pocket of my jacket, listening while I go to and from work. My main problem is that I live in a very poor radio reception area, so I can't use it round the house. Once you are a couple of miles from my house, though, the quality of reception is absolutely excellent considering its size. I have one big complaint though. If your ears don't happen to be exactly the same shape as the earphones that it comes with, they will keep falling out of your ears. After paying £54 for a radio, I then had to spend another £10 (and if I'd stuck with similar Sony ones they would have cost considerably more) on earphones that fit my ears. However, aside from this I would recommend this radio to anyone.
