Work around the clock

Keep working for longer with the VAIO SA3T9E. Its unique Smart Battery concept combines a standard battery for up to 6 hours use with an optional slim extended battery that can be charged separately from the PC to give total battery life of up to 12 hours. Use the external battery first and then when it’s running low, simply switch to the internal battery. If there’s a power socket to hand, you can remove the extended battery from the notebook - you won’t even have to turn off the VAIO - and recharge it, giving you great flexibility.

Intelligent graphics

On board is an advanced AMD Radeon HD6630M graphics card with 1GB VRAM and Intel HD graphics 3000. Dynamic Hybrid Graphics lets you choose whether you want high speed performance from the AMD card – ideal when watching movies, playing games or working on HD projects - or long battery life using the internal graphics. This clever notebook automatically recognises whether you’re using battery or mains power and when running demanding programs and applications, then intelligently selects the right graphics mode for either maximum stamina or performance.
