During my video making career, I have often wished to have three hands. The hand gripping the pan and tilt handle of the tripod is pretty much fully committed to camera movement and is vastly under used. The other hand however, has too much to do - focus, switch filters, zoom, stop and start, exposure etc etc. As soon as I got this bit of kit I couldn't understand how I used to managed before! I have it fitted to a Sony FX-7 and my video has improved enormously as a result. My advice for anyone using a tripod for video work is just get this thing.

This is a must when using a tripod. It cuts out that wobble and noise when you press the start/stop button or the fiddle when you want to zoom etc. The lead is long enough for you to stand well clear of the camera, or you can clip it onto the tripod panning handle for convenience.

It fitted the handle of my Libec tripod as if it was made for it. Its operation with my Sony HC7E camcorder is A1 - smooth and all the required controls well laid out - effectivly giving you more hands as you can operate several functions with just one set of fingers!
