Under the Hood
The PS3 features IBM's "Cell" processor and a co-developed Nvidia graphics processor that makes the system able to perform two trillion calculations per second. That makes the PlayStation 3 40 times faster than the PS2. Along with the traditional AV and composite connections, it also boasts an HDMI (High-Definition Multimedia Interface) port, which delivers uncompressed, unconverted digital picture and sound to compatible high-definition TV and projectors. The system is capable of 128-bit pixel precision and 1080p resolution for a full HD experience. This console also provides for a sound experience by supporting Dolby Digital 5.1, DTS 5.1, as well as Linear PCM 7.1. A pre-installed 320 GB hard disc drive allows you ample room to save games as well as download content from the internet.

This is mainly to counteract the pointless review from the other so called reviewer. £199 for a 320GB PS3 is great value offering plenty of space for storage of videos, photo's and music. The extra space will come in handy when downloading from the Playstation network.Great piece of kit for a very good price, ideal time to invest in a games machine and at a great price with loads of games being released plus a great back catalogue. You can't really go wrong. Oh it plays blu-ray films as well which if your a HD freak you will love. I have seen the film and to be fair it's not a bad remake, seeing as it's virtually free it's an added bonus.

This is almost like amazon have made a pricing mistake, and I would seriously recommend getting this before they're all gone or the price reverts. The free games aren't the greatest games on offer for the PS3, but to get a 320gB PS3, a Dualshock controller, a blu-ray movie, a PlayStation Eye, a PlayStation Move controller and a game for just 200 quid is quite astonishing!
