While inheriting the basic functions and design philosophy of the original PlayStation 2, the internal design architecture has been completely overhauled, resulting in a slimmer and more lightweight design. Internal volume has been reduced by 75%, overall weight has been halved and thickness trimmed down to 2.8 cm (current thickness is 7.8cm). Its size is almost as small as a hardcover book, making it easier to carry around and enjoy games and DVD videos anytime, anywhere. The system is equipped with an integrated Ethernet port for network gaming.

I'm sorry, but I just want to bring your attention to the fact that review before mine going on about how PINK it is, is based on the reviewer LOOKING AT A PICTURE!!! How can you review something that isnt even out yet? Give the thing a chance love.

However, I personally think that a PS2 is a PS2 whatever the colour. I would rather have a black one and spend the extra on a new game, but will my 13 year old daughter do that? I think not! It's pink and thats all she cares about! She would probably pay double for the stupid thing!

Yeah its almost time to say good bye ps2 and HELLLLLO UGLY looking ps3 (well thats what think any way)but i guess sony just needs to milk this slim version alittle bit more(DAMN ITS EXPENSIVE)ANYWOO,seeing as i have the old CHUNKY ps2 to i kinda like this one something different and seeing as EVERY thing is being relesed again in this colour i though i may as well get this one,warning though avoid the price tag and just trade in yur old one,you should get a good price too..(ONLY FOR TEH HARDCORE THOUGH)....by the way i am a bloke too

PlayStation 2 is a wonderful games system. Better than GameCube and XBOX.
Now it will be available in Pink, wonderful.
