I have been using Mini DV tapes from a number of brands since I purchased my camcorder five years ago. I originally brought a 3CCD camcorder for the best quality around at the time so wanted a tape that can playback as well as the camcorder recorded it.
The one consistent tape I can safely say I have settled on for reliability and at a good price is this Sony tape. It is very good value when bundled together and the free head cleaner is a real bonus reminding us of a maintenance task we should all be doing to our camcorders but I bet most (me included) wouldn't go out and buy separately on a regular basis. Playback of recorded video is still crisp and sharp using the Sony tapes, even if my camcorder is looking a bit tired and I still see no reason to upgrade my camcorder yet.

I use these tapes with my Canon MD101 and they work great. As with most DV tapes they come with labelling stickers and a case for each tape when not in use.
The head cleaner is one of the most useful aspects to this pack, they can be hard to find separately, so to be included with 5 other tapes is useful.
They do what they are designed to do, no faults from my experience.

Outstatnding value for money. All I wanted was a head cleaner but found that buying these alone worked out very expensive. I got 5 digital tapes and a free head cleaner for a fraction of the cost some retailers were charging just for the head cleaner!

I only get 40mins
I only get 40minutes with this tape on my Sony Z1E..!! Dunno why it its but so far i havent git up to 60mins which it says, only 40mins maximum so far

Exactly what it says on the packet
Very good value tapes for my camcorder, which is looking a little rusty now. I was able to record nearly two hours of karaoke on two tapes and the quality was very good. Read more

dv tapes
this product is great, i work with mini dv alot and the fact it came with a free cleaning tape was a real bonus. I will certainly purchase more as they were value for money.

Value pack
What a great offer. Whilst on holiday in Greece, I paid more for one cleaning tape than I did for this pack. No quibble, just buy it.
