The PS3 is an incredible games console- perhaps the best there is. It has so many useful features and the quality of the picture is magnificent. First and foremost, it is perfect for gaming; PS3 has wireless controllers that charge quickly, meaning less clutter. PS3 games are blu-ray disks, producing absolutely beautiful graphics a good example of this being Heavenly Sword - Platinum (PS3)
. The feature of Playstation Network (which is free!) allows for interactive gaming. After years of wishing that other people could play my games with me, PSN is an absolute gift making games such as LittleBigPlanet (PS3)
twice as fun. Automatically, the PS3 updates games (also for free) with nifty little upgrades.
What else makes the PS3 so fantastic is that it plays blu-ray films, so there is no need to break the bank buying a blu-ray player. It also automatically upscales the quality of DVDs, enhancing your enjoyment of your collection. It has USB ports, so it is easy to connect up your iPod & store music, photos etc. on the PS3. I will digress to say that this feature comes in handy for importing the themes of wrestlers not featured on WWE Smackdown vs. Raw 2009 (PS3)
when making my favourites with the creation mode.
The machine itself is very attractive. Black & silver, 'PLAYSTATION3' written across the top in an elegant font, it looks modern to the point of being futuristic. It looks right at home when positioned beside a black HD TV. Overall is is a great way of upgrading your home entertainment system.
