This is an excellent product, being the Sony DR-BT22, a more compact version of the Sony DR-BT50 (q.v.). The headset has a music frequency response of 14Hz - 24kHz when connected via A2DP. When used with a suitable mobile phone (one having a built-in music player), the music stream is interrupted by an incoming call (allowing the built-in microphone to be used for hands-free operation). When the call ends, the music re-starts automatically. The headphones also remember the volume control settings for music and phone separately. See the Sony website for the full specification.
Potential buyers should ensure that they buy the UK version not the US version since the UK version has a 100-240v 50/60Hz charger fitted with a 13A plug and suitable for world-wide use with a suitable travel adapter. The US version only has a 120v 60Hz charger fitted with a US flat-pin plug that requires a weighty transformer/adapter (at possible extra cost) to use in the UK (albeit at the wrong mains frequency).

Ive had these headphones for 5 months now and they are excellent. They are light weight, compact when folded and offer sound quality unmatched by the naff default phones that come with most devices. They are quite flexible because of the folding joints, so probably too 'flimsy' for anyone below about 10 years, but ive had them in my pocket folded with phone, keys, inhaler, etc and they hold up fine.

You do need to make sure your device is A2DP compliant, which i must say my Nokia 6120c is, and my laptop wasnt. I just needed a newer bluetooth dongle (i.e. bought this century, i got my new one for £7 inc delivery Nexxus Bluemicro PRO V2.0 Mini Bluetooth dongle) and then windows vista default drivers worked right off the bat

I am really happy to have them because I'm sick of broken wires problems. and they are really light and comfortable to wear.
