I attached this to my Sony STR-DG910 yeasterday.... In a nut shell it ok.. It does allow you to hear your walkman (mine is NWZ-A818, this is very good in it's own right) through your AV receiver. Very dissapointed it doesn't have any visual interface with the receiver, and it can't be controlled through the receivers remote. This would be fine except for the fact that the I-pod adapter can!!..........Very little benefit for buying a sony walkman.
The volume levels are way too low aswell and it's just one of those products that leaves you a little cold... a USB interface would have been ideal, no need for this at all.
Only plus is that it charges your walkman...mmmmm?

I use this on a Sony CMT-HX90BTR micro hi-fi (an excellent piece of kit by the way) which comes with both a USB and DMP interface.
Whilst I agree with the previous reviewers that it offers little advantage over the USB port for MP3 walkmans the one big plus is that it supports the old ATRAC format walkmans which the USB does not.
