Easy Operation

Crystal clear display coupled with a simple user interface means that you can find your music and photos quickly and easily.

Photo Playback

Your mobile picture library.

Play your photos individually or use the slideshow setting. Plus you can even enhance the experience by adding a soundtrack.

Easy to use, you can display your photos in portrait or landscape. The display format of the photo list can also be changed to your preference: ‘Title Only’, ‘Title With Thumbnail’ or ’Thumbnail Only’.

Your WALKMAN NWZS is WMT compatible, so you can purchase and download music from most online music providers – look for the PlaysForSure logo.

Easy Music Transfer

Transferring music to your WALKMAN couldn’t be easier – simply select, drag and drop compatible files using ‘My Computer’ and you are ready to go!

Multi Format Music Playback

The WALKMAN NWZS series plays a variety of file types including WMA / MP3 / AAC / Linear - PCM.

With a generous 2GB storage capacity, the NWZS MP3 WALKMAN can store up to 500 songs. Just as you’d expect from any WALKMAN, MP3 playback quality is superbly crisp, clear and dynamic.

Clear Audio Technologies

Clear Bass: Giving a rich bass sound without distortion.

Clear Stereo: Technology keeping the two signals clearly separate. So what you should be hearing in your left ear will never ‘leak’ into the right ear.

DSEE or Digital Sound Enhancement Engine: This unique feature improves compressed audio quality restoring high frequency signals to poor recording.

Equaliser Function: There are preset audio tone settings such as, rock, heavy etc.. as well as a custom setting giving you your preferred listening mode.

pros:
- great (even brilliant) sound quality (exceeds acclaimed samsung yp-u2 or iriver t30)
- drag and drop (at last) - very hassle free although you want wmp11. also compatibility with napster to go.
- nice design
- amazing battery life
- beautiful display
- decent equalizer and some other sound 'enhancemets'

cons:
- no playlist creation (only via transfer)
- no gizmos such as video viewer
- supplied headphones not great (but compared to other bundled headphones very decent)
- a bit pricey for 2gb player

conclusion:
if you value sound quality and use your mp3 player only to listen to music, this little thing is really a way to go. it might not have all the flashy add-ons so common in modern mp3 players, but it does what it is supposed to do. play music. and it does the job far better than any player in the same price range. strongly recommended

This player is so simple even your gran could use it. Just drag and drop tracks in windows. The sound quality is fantastic, player looks really stylish and the screen quality is good too.

All in all a great buy.

This is what all MP3 players should be like. No additional software required. Syncs with Napster, syncs with Windows Media Player and you can just drag and drop from windows explorer. Not only that but it is gorgeous to look at, sounds amazing and is a doddle to setup and use. Oh yes and the battery just goes on and on forever. Love it!!
