Product looks good, but is not compatible (& not even recognised) by Mac OS (had no idea bc no mention of the OS required in the description on Amazon).
Also, the blue end-cap which covers the USB falls off much too readily (no click to lock it in place).
Had to use it with an older Windows-based machine so slightly annoying & not exactly convenient or as expected. Hence the 2 stars out of 5.
Hope this helps.
UPDATE - IT WORKS WITH A MAC!! (10.6.8, Snow Leopard, Intel).
No - I'm not a whizzkid - it was a pure fluke to be honest. All I did was have it plugged in to the USB (& it was charging quite happily, just not recognised as a drive). Then, bc I couldn't access any of the manuals (bc my Mac didn't recognise the player & the manual wasn't provided as a hard copy), I went to [...] & downloaded the English manual from there.
Kaboom!! - The drive suddenly is recognised & I can drag & drop to my heart's content. Maybe this is how it's meant to work, maybe not. On the box however, it only refers to Microsoft operating systems so I can't explain it. (BTW - I don't have "Parallels" or any other Windows OS).
Given the above, I've updated the player to 4 stars out of 5 (the headphones could be better & the OS nonsense could be better explained)
Hope this helps.
