Bought this battery as a replacement in my Sony Camera.
Thought it would be a safe purchase as it came in its original packaging with the Sony guarantee.
The supplier was Alpha Accessories, and they are apparently not a registered Sony supplier.
Sony say they are apparently not registered with them, and so the guarantee is invalid, and they treat goods from unregistered suppliers as SECOND HAND, even
although the seller shows the battery as "New".
Anyone thinking of purchasing this Sony battery from a unregistered supplier should be aware of this.

As the title says, the previous one I had packed up so needed to get another. No problem with this product as yet.
