VERY "INTUATIVE & EASY" - Movie Maker -iMOVIE Beater.!
Some folks say that Sony Vegas MOVIE STUDIO is too much of a learning curve, and that put me off going sony for 2 long Years.!
However, I read a review in a PC Magazine recently about the new Sony Movie Studio HD 10 Platinum (PC)version here on Amazon.
And it got a 5 Star review "With Editors GOLD Award"... I read that its one off the most idiot proof MOVIE Makers on the PC Platform at present.
So, I bought it... with the help of a few YOUTUBE tutorials I was on my own and after a few days I am now making my own DVDs.
I hope to get a PC - "Blu-ray Writer" now that the prices have come down so low, and record in Glorious HD and play back on PS3.
The Sony Movie Studio HD 10 Platinum (PC)version Fully supports Blu-ray, when others make you BUY the add on.
the nice thing about Studio 10, is the colourful, drop down menus, that make it easy, even for a motivated beginner like ME.
I tried Pinnacle 14... and it just was too cluttered and not very intuitive, Sony have obviously put a lot of thought into this.
BUY at the reduced price, at time of review, 5 stars for ease of use... However, it will take a few more weeks to master the rest of the functions.

It does what it says on the tin. This is a fast and powerful video editor which is great for SD and HD work, and doesn't cost an arm or a leg. Download the trial first from Sony and see for yourself. The trial version is fully functional for one month so a good opportunity to really try it out on a full scale editing project. It would score full marks if there wasn't some occasional instability using it with Vista and large HD files on my computer.

An excellent piece of software,well worth the money. I have switched from Pinnacle to this product.
I find the screen layout clearer and more user friendly, the FX are very good. Some of the controls
are more cumbersome than Pinnacle, but overall I now prefer working with this kit.
