Great game.
Fantastic presentation and graphics.
Superb music soundtrack really gets the adrenalin going during a race.
Gameplay is a litle deeper than you might first imagine, it's not simply a 'hold the accelerator down all the way' type of game, although it does initially appear that way. But you will soon discover you have to think ab out your racing line and racing style for each type of vehicle.
Brilliant pick up and play accessibility. But depth also.
Loses top marks for me by the scandalous lack of multi player mode. Your only way of multi player is via online play. This is a game crying out to be played with your mates - it would be a riot! I'll bet the feature will be included in the inevitable sequel. But it should have been in this game.
If you've just bought a PS3 and like racing games....GET THIS!

Forget the geeky reviews, if you want a game thats great fun, amazing to look at and will appeal to all the family, this is it, no doubt ! A real showcase for the PS3, well done Sony and Evolution i say ...

Absolutley fantastic game. Great fun and hard to put down once you've started playing. Bought it for when the lads came round with a few beers and performed to my expectations. The only draw back is, as mentioned on another review, only 1 controller at a time- which caused a bit of friction ,cause everybody wanted to be playing it and didn't want to wait.
Don't expect the first few races to be a walk in the park either, the AI sees that you get bashed ,smashed and thrown all over the place right from the word go.
This was the first game i got for the PS3 and so glad i did. BUY IT

I LOVE IT, the vehicles are great, the songs on it RULE!!!
