Product Description

Product Description

The NetMD system featured on the Sony MZ-N510 Blue Net MiniDisc Walkman is designed to maximise your entertainment: record MP3s or CDs at up to 32x speed from your PC directly to your Net MD recorder together with title/track information; enjoy ATRAC3 audio, MP3, WMA and WAV playback and use MDLP long-time stereo playback to get more than five hours of music on one 80-minute disc.

There are two modes (LP2 and LP4) of recording and up to 56 hours of continuous playback using one AA battery (in LP4 mode), thanks to technology that extends battery life beyond previous limits. Music management software such as the supplied SonicStage makes managing your music a snap; a bookmark function enables rapid song retrieval.

Skip-Free G-Protection minimises loss of position and provides quick recovery from both horizontal and vertical shock. The Easy Skip Group/Folder function allows for easy navigation between multiple file folders. There are multiple playback modes, allowing extreme versatility in track programming.

An indicator on the unit's LCD alerts you to the time left on the MiniDisc for recording or playback, as well as providing information about remaining battery life.

The automatic end search function informs you, with the press of a button, how much unrecorded time remains on a disc and begins additional recording from that point. A remote control is supplied for easy access to advance tracks. Other supplied accessories include Fontopia stereo headphones, rechargeable battery and a carry case. The MZ-N510 measures in inches 3.25(w) x 1.125(h) x 3(d) and weighs 3.6 ounces (without batteries).

4.0 out of 5 stars Excellent, 22 May 2003

(REAL NAME)
I am very happy with this MD player. It does everything I wanted to very well. The sound quality is good, even in LP4 mode, and it refuses to skip. The transfer between PC and MD is really quick down the USB cable, and you can get about 5 hours on a disc in LP4 mode. The only problem is that the headphones are rubbish, but who cares about the headphones really. V. happy, and it came a day earlier than expected, too.

4.0 out of 5 stars Good for the price., 18 Mar 2003
I bought this minidisc purely because it was one of the cheapest, Net MD's from sony that I could find. I wasn't expecting much but I was pleasantly supprised by the quality and functionalbility of it. The battery life was exelent lasting 56 hours! It was very easy to use and the quality was great even for the MP3's, its only let down is the buttons on the front are plastic and need to be pressed quite hard. Otherewise thsi is one of the best for the price. Good buy.

5.0 out of 5 stars Sony MZ-N510 - Fantastic product!, 31 Mar 2003
This Sony Mz-N510 recordable minidisc player is fantastic value for money..... This product comes with great working features, such as the ability to download music to your minidisc player, through a USB port. The music quality is great, and being jog-proof comes in very handy, when on the go....... I would reccommend this to anyone, what a fantastic product! Chris Shadbolt.
