4.0 out of 5 stars Usual Sony Quality 11 Mar 2004
By Small Scale VINE VOICE
A nice price for 128 Mb of storage. I bought a couple of these from Amazon given that I only ever shoot at 5Mp, so at least I can record around 100 photos (enough for the average holiday shots of the kids, etc).
I choose 2 x 128Mb sticks in preference to the single 256 Mb stick, mainly because the 256 Mb stick is more expensive than 2 x 128's (!!), and also because the single stick is actually only 220 Mb of effective storage (!!). Bizarre, but true.
As with Sony, the 128 stick has all the usual quality you expect. The only niggle with all Sony cameras (including the DCS-V1 I have) is the write + read speed onto the stick, which at times, has all the speed of a thousand geriatric turtles. Still, it's a Sony, and that's really all you need to know.

5.0 out of 5 stars Sony Memory Stick 22 Feb 2003
By A Customer
Whilst Sony's propriatary storage medium is not known to be as cheap as other formats, with its useful size, and extra large capacity MS certainly shows that it is worth the money. This 128MB card will store over 100 of the highest quality photos on many of Sony's Digital Camera Range, and stores 1000 low resolution images on my P50 Camera. The erasure prevention switch is indispensable for people like me who will delete the wrong images by mistake. If you need a Memory Stick, buy this one. It is now well under the price you would pay for two 64MB sticks. Well worth it for any digital photographer, be it amateur or professional.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great for the avid photographer 28 April 2003
By John B
128 Mb is enough for one week of intense travelling on your holidays or a slower-paced two weeks. Should certainly be backed up with another 128Mb chip (or a 64Mb), but I do think more than 80 photographs at 2048x1536 on a single chip is worth it. Besides, on half resolution (good enough for most people), it can store a tremendous amount of photos.

5.0 out of 5 stars 128 mb is worth the money 13 Feb 2003
The growing number of Sony electrical products taking the (memory stick) is ever growing, the 128mb stick is used for my DSCP31 Sony Cybershot camera and does the job very well, the 128mb memory stick will make no difference to the weight of the item but changes it from a 8 picture (high res with 8mb inc with camera) to a 100+ high res camera (5 x 24 exposure films) 1000`s if you lower the quality, The speed of uploading (transfering the pictures from the camera to the pc) is very good and as for value for money, it`s a multi use item that can be used for mp3 players, digital cameras, printers and more and more items, i think it`s worth it, as for cheaper versions my experience has swayed me to stick with manufacturers own accesories.

5.0 out of 5 stars 128MB MEMORY STICK 11 Feb 2004
got this to go with my Sony DSC-P32 digital camera. It has been very helpful to me. I can now store up to 6 minutes of M-Peg movie, and 760 standard photos (around 90 3.2MP photos). Basically its a lot easier to carry round this tiny light weight stick, rather than say 3 or 4 standard camera films.

5.0 out of 5 stars Sony have excelled themselves yet again! 16 Jun 2003
By A Customer
This application is absolutely brilliant, and you won't find anything better on today's market.
As usual Sony, being the Electronic Wizards that they are, have proved yet again that size isn't everything.
The compact brilliance of the stick is out of this World and I have found it so useful in my everyday work, as it makes my job so much easier.
Well done Sony!!

5.0 out of 5 stars Expand the memory for more freedom!! 12 Jun 2003
I bought this memory stick when I bought a digital camera because I found that the memory stick given was not sufficent enough. It works absolutely fine and I have had no problems what so ever. On a 3.2 million pixels camera, you can fit 82 photos on this 128MB memory stick. I would say that it is great value for such a large memory. You can always delete the photos and use it again. The memory stick is also compatable to develop photos at your local photo centre. I got some photos developed yesterday and they came out great! I am sure that, that was due to the memory stick!
Generally, you would not find another memory stick else where for such good value. I would suggest that you bought a 128MB memory stick and not a 64MB, or lower, memory stick.

5.0 out of 5 stars Sony MSA-128A Memory Stick - 128MB 16 Sep 2003
I bought this additional memory for my Sony DSC P52 digital camera, and I am really happy that I decided to buy this memory media.
This stick can store at least 82 photos at 3.1M pixels quality. That's a lot of photos.
Using it with camera is very simple.
The SONY price is a bit expensive than other memory media types, but SONY quality and reliability is unbeatable.
