This is great unit. The CD player is fine. The Tuner is fine. The Aux input works well. I prefer to use the USB slot which is very handy for quickly grabbing podcasts or whatever before you hit the road.
The bluetooth phone facility works reasonably well unless you are tanking it up the M6 in a mk3 Golf in which case there is a background noise issue.
The previous reviewer rather misses the point. Berating the unit for not being compatible with your iPod when it doesn't claim to be seems a little silly. (The iSheep can be a little fascistic, can't they?) I was disappointed with the lack of onboard toaster, but as Sony make no claim that this facility is present then I suppose I'll suppress my complaint.
Anyway, this a great little headunit which does pretty much everything you might want it to. It also comes with a remote control which I'm struggling to get the full use out of.

I Purchased this item from Halfords who also fitted it. The Sony MEX-BT3600U is an excellent product, but there is one massive drawback! If you intend to use this product with any iPod it is NOT I REPEAT NOT COMPATIBLE!!!
The USB connection on the front is only for use with a memory stick or SONY'S own MP3 products.
If you connect your iPod to the USB it will play but tracks are played randomly & you have no control over what you listen to. If you try to search for artists & tracks then all that comes up on the display is garbled characters!
The only way you can use this product with an iPod is to get a lead with 3.5mm jack on each end then plug one end into your ipod headphone socket, then the other into the front of the Sony MEX-BT3600U. Then you can control you tracks via the iPod. The sound quality is not as good as via the USB & the iPod battery runs flat almost immediately!!!
