5.0 out of 5 stars The Best Headphones I've Ever Used 10 Mar 2012

After finally deciding on what to do, I decided to stick to my impulsiveness and upgrade from the Sony XB-700. I took the leap and £270 of my good money leaped out of my wallet into these babies.

On a good note I did sell my previous pair for £45 which did help a lot with my choice.

Short story really,

Opening up the box was a brilliant experience, nothing interesting but see the headphones was excellent.

The cable is twice as long it seems then the XB-700 and comes with the standard jack connection.

The feel of the ear padding is sweet and soft as silk and is honestly the best feeling ever on the ears. I don't understand how they can get any better.

I plugged them into my Sandisk Sansa Clip+ 8GB and instantly my Daft Punk Alive 2007 came to life and you could feel the bass so well as it was pumping air.

I tried out a few other songs from Buckethead's Colma to Black Sabbath's Paranoid and honestly they are the best headphones i've ever worn.

The soundstage has been improved incredibly and you can actually feel like you're in the audience with live songs which is fantastic. The surround sound effect is brilliant and the headphones handle it very well.

10/10 all round, can't fault these.

Maybe I'll upgrade to the XB-1250 if ever they came around.

Produces great sound.

At first I was disappointed, but then after a 'burn in period' I came to love the face shaking bass, don't be afraid to try out the full range of music on these as they go down to 2db... Some say you can't hear that low, but you can defiantly still feel it!!
