Having read a number of the reviews here I was confused that some said it was only just large enough to hold the camcorder, while others said there was plenty of room for the camcorder and accessories. Well which is true?
Well having checked the Sony web site it seems they recommend this case for most of their camcorders and these vary in size a lot! So while there is plenty of room for a small camcorder it might be tight for one of the larger ones.
In case it helps anyone I measured the internal dimensions at about 22cm x 10cm x 13cm (wxdxh) [sizes are approximate]. There is also a small zipped pocket in the lid and a small pocket on the front. The main section can be divided in two using a supplied divider which is attached to the front and back using velcro.

What more can you ask for? A good case at a great price.It's large enough to fit all your cables,a quick charger, a spare battery and spare tapes yet it's still remarkably portable.The usual Sony high quality is on show once again with a movable devider to suit your application and an adjustable shoulder strap with sufficient padding.

This is the perfect case for a Sony Handycam. Everything went in to it including the cables and recharger. There was even room for spare disks and the camera instructions! A nice compact shape with padded compartments and a sturdy base. This carrying case is good value and does a perfect job.

Good Case but too big
If you only have a small handy cam like me, you'll find this case far to big.

Perfect size for my Sony Handcam
This case is well built and has enough room for my Sony Handycam, the power lead and the manual. It has another small pocket on the outside where I store the execess cables.

Too big for 'Perfect Partner' item
This item was recommended by Amazon as a 'Perfect Partner' for the Sony DVD106 Handycam but it was too big. Even moving the partition left the camcorder rattling around. Read more
