I was worried about one review on here that said the case was too big for the Sony TG3 & TG7 cameras (they are both the same size) because the camera rattled about in the cavernous case .. or something like that but this is just not true !
You don't want a case that is so tight you have to literally force the camera into it either.
It is just the right size for these two cameras in my opinion.
For ME (I am an ex-professional photographer too) this is one of the best cases I have bought, and I have bought many.
I like the magnetic catch, it makes it easy to open and shut, and there is no way that this case could accidentally come off either.
The only criticism I have is that the newer Sony cases are retained by the wrist strap so you can just forget about them (like my Sony case for the Sony DSC-WX100) but in all honesty I wouldn't want this case to be dangling about on the wrist strap, hence you have to put it you jacket pocket or a bag
Yes, it isn't leather but is quite durable, although I suspect the silver sides could be come marked if you don't take care.
It has had a few outings with me now and I am highly delighted with it.
