I had an 18 year old television and had been looking for a tv that was reasonably priced and a good size, there are several that i could have chosen, but the Sony Trinitron was just more appealling for my needs it has excellent sound quality although the Virtual Dolby is not great. The picture is very clear and sharpe and looks good in any room.
