Forking out an extra 200 quid or so may get you a 100Hz picture but this set is more than adequate for most needs. The picture quality is up to Sony's usual high standards and the virtual surround sound performs well in your average London-sized room. Set up takes only a few minutes and from there the controls are logical and simple to use.
