Bought this as an upgrade from a series 5 Samsung 32" TV, so obviously I feel that the difference is amazing. The freesat is a major bonus to the regular digital channels, food timing as he world cup is about to start. The frame-like shape of the TV is very pleasing to the eye and makes it look more like a portrait (especially if you hid the wires like I have). The logo stays on in a cool blue but can be easily turned off once you're bored of it. If you already have a PS3 then you'll feel right at home with the Cross Media Bar menu. There is also a quick menu accessible through the options.
Those of you worried about the romours that motionflow creates artifacts on the screen should be happy to know that it can be set to half (100) or switched off. Also, if you want a fast millisecond response time for online gaming then simply go to "Game" scene mode, instead of "theatre". The remote can be used to control any amplifiers, DVD players and Blu-Ray drives connected, this is guaranteed if it's also a Sony brand. There is even a little button at the top left that lights up the remote in blue for 5 seconds, giving you the chance to find buttons without wasting energy :)
My only complaint is the price, since you're also paying for a brand, not just a freesat TV. I suppose it's like buying an Apple product, though. It's a matter of serious choice. When I bought this it was £1948 so I suppose it's pudent to get it now rather than later.
I bought this as I read that it was well synced with the PS3, which I already have. It's been made clear to me that even a Panasonic TV could be syncronised to switch off and on together with a PS3. This hasn't made me want to return it because I am so happy with it's other features.
