Really pleased with this TV. Had read that the stand was difficult to attach - rubbish! it was a piece of cake. It slots into place then you can secure it with the supplied screws. A screwdriver with a magnetic head could be an advantage. Easy set up, it does it all for you. Very scant instruction book but then if you can follow onscreen instructions you don't really need a huge book in 64 languages. Quickly hooked up with my Freeview recorder and DVD recorder. May have to swap the scarts around as it defaults to the AV with the DVD which irritates me. Lot of features I will never remember to use. I am told the sound is less than exceptional but unless you have very sharp hearing not a problem and you can always use a cinema speaker set up if it bothers you. Will be getting a wall bracket but not from my local Sony shop - £400 - who are you trying to rob!!
