I have had this TV for a week now and am so pleased with it. So easy to use, I didn't once need to look at the manual! Whilst looking for a TV and deciding whether to spend the extra money to get an internet TV, all I can say is that it is worth every pennny. With this model and the current Lovefilm offer, means you have access to many Lovefilm films for free, its great! Stand was easy to assemble to! Overall the TV has everything I needed, with great sound and picture quality, and looks great!

i'm really pleased with my sony tv purchase. the picture quality is brilliant and sound is pretty good, but could be better. i love the internet connectivity and have just started to use the internet services provided.
just a side note, the screws for the stand were difficult to screw in.
otherwise, thankyou sony for providing such a good product at a very competitive price!

It is great. We needed to upgrade the Tv in the bedroom (the one in the lounge needs doing too, but we'll waituntil that goes pop). Absolutley brilliant. The picture is sharp and the sound is really clear. Having use of the wifi contection and USB is a major bonus. We'll definately get another sony when the one in the lounge die's!

Decided to finally upgrade to a full HD TV before the Digital switchover, and found this TV although at a very reasonable price. The picture quality is fantastic and it is very simple to use (even my technophobic mother was able to understand how to set it up without using the instructions). The only downside is the price of the USB for WiFi (Sony UWABR100) which costs between £40-£80 depending on where you shop, which was an expense I wasn't expecting! Overall good though :)

Be warned if you are buying this to watch TV over the internet it only provides a service from BBC iplayer and something similar from Channel 5. Doesn't work with ITV or 4 OD. Not much use as a internet browser. Good for streaming content from LoveFilm and YouTube although inputting of search criteria will drive you mad unless you are the kind of person who actually enjoy entering text messages in you mobile phone.

As a TV you get all you would expect from Sony and nothing at all to grumble about. Good viewing experience.

Had fun adding the TV to the home network and accessing content stored on other computers.

Don't regret buying but feel a bit let down on the internet side of things.

We have had our Bravia for about 2 months now and I am quite impressed by what it has to offer. I originally purchased it because I have been very pleased with the reliability of Sony products over the years. I selected this particular television because of the internet connectivity option and the USB recording capability. The price for the size was also excellent.

On the plus side:
(1) The interface for the "built-in" BRAVIA Internet Video sites (e.g., to BBC, Demand 5, Sony (sorta), YouTube and LoveFilm) works quite well and we use them often. There is actually some good content out there worth watching (and a lot of garbage - set your parental controls). The playback is controlled well through the Sony remote - acts like a standard DVD player (pause, FF, REW, etc). Very nice.
(2) The USB recording is brilliant and easy to use. No need to purchase a DVR! I connected a hard drive from an old laptop and it has worked like a champ! I am very pleased with this feature. It is very easy to set up shows to record. Playback is also controlled very well through the remote.
(3) It connects very nicely to my PCs to view pictures and videos as well as play music. This was not something I picked it for but is a great and simple to use feature. I connected it to my home network for internet access and it recognized the PCs which I had configured to share media. This is really nice when my wife wants to see the latest pictures we have taken - no need to connect something else to the tele to do it. The only problem now is that I want to purchase a much better sound system to be able to use it to play back music from my PCs (ah, but it is a good problem to have).
(4) Of couse, the picture is great for everything, including web surfing (see comment 1 below).

This is a well built TV with good picture quality, and fairly good controls which mostly do the right thing without being annoying.

My favourite bits are the picture settings for each individual input; the fairly simple remote control, and the inclusion of a BBC iPlayer app.

But some features are more 'tickbox' than complete. Skype requires a ridiculously priced camera. The BBC iPlayer app is excellent quality once playing, but slow to navigate and doesn't do subtitles. The DLNA home media server thing is very cumbersome to navigate. Sony's email support to me was mostly wrong. The main menu is not quick enough to navigate. The analogue SCART input is not good quality from my DVD player, although the component RGB is. YouTube playback mostly works but doesn't do 4oD programmes. Typing text is very hard (like a phone). The web browser can't zoom to a readable size. The Android remote control app is an incomplete prototype.

On the whole, I'm happy. Sony's underlying expertise with consumer products still shines through, even though recent features have been thrown in hurridly.
