With Edge LED backlighting, the TV picture is illuminated by white LEDs arranged along the top and bottom edge of the display panel. Light is directed through the screen, enhancing contrast and brightness. As well as giving sharper pictures, Edge LED also allows for a slimmer, more lightweight design so you can enjoy all the benefits of a big screen television without having to compromise on precious space in your home.
All your favourite shows and movies are brought vividly to life in high definition with fine detail and rich colour. Choose either HD Ready (22” and 26” models) or Full HD (24” model) technology. Full HD 1080p resolution provides more than 2 million pixels for a smooth, high resolution image - that’s the maximum resolution defined for HDTVs and the format used by Blu-ray Disc players and PLAYSTATION 3 consoles. Fancy playing some Full HD games? No problem. Connect up your PlayStation 3 and it’s game on in a whole new dimension. With 2 HDMI inputs, linking up your HD equipment is quick and easy. You can also connect a wide range of USB devices straight to your home cinema system. Play MP3 music, view photo slideshows and manage the content on your USB memory stick on screen, simply by plugging in a flash drive.
With X-Reality picture enhancement, images are crystal clear and colours as natural as real life. Detail is perfectly defined with no degradation or noise, even when watching standard definition pictures.
The BRAVIA EX520 Series protects the environment while saving you energy and money. On board is a Presence Sensor which automatically turns off the TV picture if you leave the room and then switches to standby if you don’t return within a certain time period. It also features an Energy Saving Switch which cuts energy consumption to zero when the TV is not in use or on standby. You can easily restart in seconds with Quick Start & Viewing.
On board are a variety of HDMI and USB ports, so you can really get the best out of your home entertainment. Two HDMI inputs designed to carry high quality digital video and audio with CEC and Audio Return Channel make it simple to connect to High Definition products. Play games on your console, watch latest Blu-ray movies in high definition or enjoy your latest HD home videos. You can also listen to your favourite music or view photos via the USB media player. Simply plug in a USB device to access your favourite multimedia on screen. Stream movies, music and photos to your BRAVIA from compatible devices in the home such as a laptop, mobile phone or music player using DLNA technology.
BRAVIA EX320 integrates perfectly with your lifestyle. Record a show you might miss straight to hard disk via USB and link a smartphone to your TV to use as a remote or to find details about the programme you’re watching.
BRAVIA Sync lets you control other Sony devices that you’ve connected, such as a Blu-ray Disc player, using just one BRAVIA TV commander. Play Blu-ray movies, watch home movies from your camcorder or photos from your Cyber-shot at the touch of a button on your TV remote.
BRAVIA televisions are designed to link up in seconds with Sony Blu-ray players, home theatre systems and Personal Video Recorders. Get the most out of your HDTV with Blu-ray and watch your favourite DVDs like you’ve never seen them before in fine detail, vivid colour and pin-sharp contrast. Or get the full surround sound experience with a Blu-ray Home Theatre system like the BDV-E380 or BDV-E880. George Lucas once said that ‘sound is half the experience’, so with that in mind, it makes perfect sense to unleash the power of your favourite films with a 2.1 channel system such as the BDV-EF200. Never want to miss another TV show? Take control of your TV with a PVR and watch what you want, when you want.

Best TV i have ever had,
By
This review is from: Sony KDL26EX320BU 26-inch Widescreen HD Ready Edge LED Internet TV with Freeview (Electronics)
I have had many TV's in the past, I have one of the first Plasma's, one of the first LCD's and have 2 further LG LCD's with combined Freeview and now have this 26" LED television from Sony.I recently purchased from Amazon an Western Digital WD Live box so i could use iPlayer and stream moving from my Network Attached Storage ahich cost £70. I never got around to using this box as i purchased this TV which has the capability straight out the box. The Setup is very simple, I have to disagree with the other review. Wireless works really well but that will depend on conditions like quality of your wirless router and location. Mine is under the stairs and the TV is in the bedrooom. I have taken many of my sons DVD's and encoded to MPEG4 which play fautlessly. The TV had youtube and iplayer plus many others and these work great too. I have had the TV for 2 weeks now and cant say i have any issue. Sometimes streaming videos the connection is lost but then it is wireless so no different to when doing the same from a laptop. The Sound, people say LED TV is rubbish, i would again disagree. I was pleasantly suprised by the quality of the sound. Ok, its not as good as my Panasonic Viera Plasma or my LG LCD but what do you expect with a tv that is only a few centimetres thick. I purchased a £25 2.1 subwoofer speaker set and this really enhances this for movies. The good thing about this is you can plug in this set but not have to use all the time as you can configure the TV to use both the 3.5mm jack and the TV speaker which you could not do with my LCD sets - it had to be one of thte other. So in summary this tv is perfect for the bedroom, fo your main living area i would suggest an external speaker system. Sony are constantly updating the firmware and adding new features so thats good. I plan to convert my complete DVD collection now to MPEG4 store on my network attached storage. The TV also plays file direct from USB drive and again this works great. The viewing angle is brilliant unlike my LG where when you lay on the bed the screen went darker. The only disapoinment from what i can see so far is that there is no ITV/Channel 4 Net player and the web browser does not support some Web page media frames so basically the boxes do not play. I am so happy with this i now plan to purchase a second to replace my LG LCD.

Welcome to the 21st Century,
By
This review is from: Sony KDL22EX320BU 22-inch Widescreen HD Ready Edge LED Internet TV with Freeview (Electronics)
I love my new TV - I feel like I've joined the 21st century! It was much easier to set up and connect to my wifi than I expected, this was up and running within minutes. The picture quality is excellent, so much clearer than my old CRT TV and the sound is fine for a small TV. I was surprised how good the quality of the picture is when watching BBC iPlayer - it's just as good as normal TV although I understand this will depend on your connection speed - I'm lucky that mine is quite fast. With the wifi you can also connect to other devices - my phone was in the same room with its wifi turned on and I was a bit creeped out to see all my phone music show up on the TV menu, a nice option to play your music if you want to. You can also browse the internet, although this feature is a bit clunky as you're relying on arrows on the remote to scroll between links. For typing you're using the numbers on the remote like you would on a phone. Another useful feature is being able record programmes onto a USB although I haven't tried this yet. All in all, this is so much more than a TV. This TV is in my bedroom, I think I'm going to have to upgrade my main one too!

Great TV, Wrongly advertised,
This review is from: Sony KDL22EX320BU 22-inch Widescreen HD Ready Edge LED Internet TV with Freeview (Electronics)
I have just taken delivery of a Sony KDL22EX320BU LED Edge Lit TV, I had done some research as I wanted a small screen TV capable of Internet and Freeview HD. When I saw the spec. for this tv on another website I noticed it was quoted as having a Freeview HD tuner, I checked a number of other sites and 4 out of 5 confirmed this "fact", so I parted with the cash. I even called the seller Hughes Direct to double check the spec. On delivery I took out the instruction booklet and checked, needless to say the not so easy to understand document does say that all tvs in the EX range are Freeview HD...EXCEPT the 24 and 22 inch..bummer. Also the tv only has 2 HDMI inputs and 1 Scart input. On the bright side it does have a great picture, and intelligently upscales whatever input your have. The internet setup (wired) was easy and seems pretty good so far. I have kept the item even though wrongly advertised, Hughes were very good and offered a full refund. Personally I think Sony should write clearer specs. for their kit, it was not easy to find this info out. When I looked I could not find this TV on the Sony website hence my double checking specs. before purchase. If anyone finds a Freeview HD, 1080p, Internet TV for sale in 22 or 24 inch pls shout!
