I wanted a 22' TV/DVD/Digi combo TV for my bedroom to save some space and enable me to get rid of some of my outdated equipment and combine them into one. Surprisingly, there seemed to be a lack of choice on the market for this -but I did a bit of research and decided that this Sony was the way to go. It fitted my requirements perfectly, being 22 inch it is just the right size for the bedroom, where I view the TV from relativley close and anything larger than this would be too big. It also has the DVD player built in, digital receiver built in, and being Sony it is a quality brand you know you can rely on.
Really pleased with it in all areas - very easy set up, very good quality digital receiver which has actually enabled me to pick up more channels than I have been able to before using a seperate digital box.. and the DVD player is handy and simple to use. Love having the TV and DVD controls all on one remote!
Nice menu system including a place to store your 'favourite' channels for easy viewing among other things. The TV also looks great - very slim, sleek and glossy black. Stylish and very nice piece of Sony design.
I was tempted to go for a lesser known, cheaper priced set but am glad that I went for this one that should stand the test of time.
Really recommended for a bedroom or a room where you generally need a smaller TV and also want to save space by having all of your kit in one - love the fact that I have managed to clear out a whole cabinet by not having seperate DVD player and digibox.. and de-cluttered all my cables...

We bought this Sony 22" TV/DVD for use upstairs.
It was easy to set up. The picture quality is excellent and the sound very acceptable considering that it is only a 22" and will never match that of a large TV.
The DVD works well and is very neatly designed, easy to use and saves having a clunky additional DVD player and its associated cables.
Its light and easy to move around from room to room as required and can be wall mounted should you wish.
All in all the Sony KDL22CX32DBU 22-inch Widescreen HD Ready LCD TV and Built-in DVD Player with Freeview is a great little TV/DVD combo built to the usual Sony quality.

The Sony TV with built-in DVD player and Freeview was ideal for viewing in a smaller room which I needed. The set, which is space-saving, is easy to use. Picture quality is very good and DVD's easy to play. It was useful to see DVD's containing pictures(JPEG or similar) being displayed in a powerpoint-type presentation on screen. I have yet to work out the control of volume on adding external speakers. The control buttons on the side of the set (i.e. DVD player) are not easy to see as they are the same colour as the set(black)but this is general to many modern sets.

Great tv
I'm really pleased with this Sony tv/DVD.Great picture quality and sound. Shame there is no freeview but i use Sky Box anyway. Overall very good.
